You may find that you need to make a one-time request that is separate form the monthly rent reminders. This may be for a deposit, a late fee, etc etc... As long as you're set up for Rent Payments, this is easy to do from your account.
Before you get started you'll need to make sure that you have:
- Set up the property you're requesting a payment for [here's how]
- Added a bank account [here's how]
- Have been approved for Rent Payments (instructions are sent via email once you've added that bank account!)
As long as you have that covered, you may submit your individual request.
There are a couple of ways to do this:
Request from the Payments Tab
- Go to "Payments" in your navigation bar
- Choose the "New Request" option in the top, right-hand corner
- Remain on that first tab: "Request Rent Payment"
- Select property from drop down
- Add payment request details
Request from the Property
- Go to "Properties" in your navigation bar
- Choose the property
- Click on "Online Payments"
- Choose the "New Request" option in the top, right-hand corner
- Add payment request details
Your tenant will receive an email that looks like this:
and may choose the "Make Payment" option (as long as they have set up their Tenant Portal).
